RESERVED March - Loseley Meadows - copy
Welcome to the THIRD month of Dandelion Bloom, a monthly ball-jointed doll kit release.
Each tiny bloom will represent a different theme that changes each month of the year, for the entirety of 2021 (and maybe beyond!) They will be sent to you unassembled and ready to sand, string and customise. This little bloom 'Poppy Chesterfield' will only be available for the month of March and then we will move to March Blooms! If demand is too much, we may need to close early. Asteria Foxglove from February sold out in a record 12 minutes so please bear that in mind when considering this little one.
We'll take care of all the major support removal from the printing process, so you'd just need to focus on smoothing out any pieces that seem like they need a light surface sanding, any residual bits and pieces and any lines that may be present.
A video will be posted in the coming days showing you everything that you will receive and talk you through the process of completing your little doll. We will discuss safety, any small supplies that may be useful and explain how to sand and string Clover, as well as give you a little look into their posing ability.
All parts are printed in resin and are not cast, so pieces may include lines and imperfections for you to sand away and once ready, you must apply some UV protective sealant to protect your little bloom.
These are kits are put together by just two people and they will have imperfections. Please bear in mind that they are a kit and therefore require finishing by you, which is how we are able to offer them for an affordable price. However we will do our best to ensure that you are receiving something that is easy to work with and of high print quality. The snowdrops in the photo are an accurate representation of the quality you will receive. They have had light support removal but have not yet been sanded.
The estimated time to smooth and string your bloom is about 2 hours. But this is designed to be a fun activity for us to wind down with, in the chaos of the times we are living in. With the addition of painting and blushing, making wigs and fashioning tiny clothes - this is a fun little DIY project for you to get stuck into and if you like, enjoy on a monthly basis with a wide range of critters and creatures to keep you company.
Clover Littlefoot will include the following;
- Open Eye head
- Normal chest piece
- Bottom piece
- Furry Leg and Hoof
- Arm pieces (Upper arm, elbow, lower arm)

We will provide you with the fibres that you need to make the wig and appropriate bands used in the making of them. You will have the option if you would like the kit with the jersey we use for our caps or if you'd prefer to use something that you have on hand for cheaper (such as stockings or your own white jersey) A tutorial will be posted this week with how to make your own wig. Each month may explore different styles of wigs!
If you managed to grab other blooms and we are holding them for you or you are awaiting their final production, you MUST ship these with the FAST SHIP order or pay for extra shipping if you'd like them sent before. Otherwise your previous orders will be held until all overflow orders have been fulfilled
It is to be noted that we are in the UK and in lockdown for a few more weeks. If there are any significant delays we will of course keep you all notified.
You can stay informed on our progress with all blooms on Instagram
If neither of the blooms for this month aren't for you, worry not as April blooms will be available in the middle of April.
Back before we made wigs, Mama Frapp owned a Christmas Decoration company; A family business where I worked too. It grew to an impressive size, selling to garden centres, department stores all over the UK and Europe. When we first started however, our first warehouse and offices were in a barn on the Loseley Estate, where they milked the dairy cows to make their famous ice cream. This is how our little Loseley bloom, got their name,
