Hello there, friend. If you're here then you're probably looking at ordering a wig! 

We offer two services here at Frappzilla Studio: 
  • Premade wigs which are already made and ready to ship
  • Preorder wigs which are made catered to your requests. You choose your size, the cut, the colour and we will then make it in weeks to follow. 

Please read this page thoroughly before placing an order with us.

First of all, it is important to note that all of our wigs are handmade from scratch. While we try our hardest to ensure that all wigs are made to the highest quality, they are made by two people only. 
There will be flaws as with any handmade item you purchase! If you are looking for perfection then it is likely that we are not the shop for you.

  • Since all fibres are hand dyed, we advise customers to take extra precautions to protect their dolls from excess dye transfer. We put our fibres through many processes to prevent this from happening but you cannot ever be too cautious, especially with dark colours and tones in the red family. 

  • Please make sure that you measure your doll's head accurately. Our wigs do not have a marge amount of wiggle room, and while you can stretch them a little with a hairdryer or use putty to keep the wig in place, everyone wants a wig that fits well! We cannot be held responsible should a wig not fit correctly if the measurements are incorrect. Please take a look at the sizing page for information on how to measure your dolls head correctly.

  • Braids are usually sent detached unless otherwise specified. This is so customers can position them accordingly on their doll. As many dolls have differently shaped heads, it is better for customers to decide the ideal placement. If you wish to attach them, you can do so by using a little white glue on the inside of the wig.  Having them separate also means customers can create their own styles too, and have much more flexibility and customisation options.

  • All sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations under most circumstances; but we encourage customers to contact us if there is a problem with an order, we’re happy to help if your item is somehow defective.
 
  • The studio is a smoke free environment, but it should be noted that it is home to two fluffy bunnies, and we do work with alpaca on occasion.

If you are buying a premade wig the process is a little different. We do not customise wigs that are premade and you cannot request thinner styles etc!
If you would like a custom order please do not select the premade wig option.

Since these wigs are premade, the sizes are fixed but we may be able to recreate the wig in an alternate size if you have a preorder slot. 

Orders for premade wigs have priority over shipment and we'll try and get them out as fast as we can, but as stated in the shipping section, our schedule can be eratic and it can take time to get them on their way. Please bear this in mind when ordering.

If you are looking to purchase a preorder slot then please read this thoroughly. Working on custom orders can get very complicated so it is important for you to follow the procedure below to avoid any extended delays on your order. 

Any order submitted without all necessary information (including colour choices)  will be cancelled and refunded. We cannot complete your order if we do not know exactly what you want, so please be sure to double check that you are ordering correctly. Some of the colours and blends offered may be exclusive to an event, and unavailable for purchase at a later date. 

Preorders are completed in anywhere from a couple of days to up to 8 weeks. 
We do not always work in sequence of orders received. We work in the format that is most efficient and group similiarly coloured wigs together to save on production time.
Slots do sell out quickly so we do suggest customers try and get in early to avoid disappointment but that does not mean that your order will be made first. 

We open orders around the 20th of the month but do not start production until the 1st. This is so we can order materials and supplies ahead of time. 

You must measure your dolls head/s correctly and purchase the size according to the measurements. 

We can make infinite colours since we hand mix our dyes. The colours page can be viewed to get an idea of the kinds of blends we can provide but we can make various different colours that are not listed there. It is advised to contact us ahead of time to confirm that we can make your request. If you want a very specific blend, you should provide as many references as possible.
Remember that colours vary from monitor to monitor, so colours may look different in person.

We try to stick to the styles available but you can request something else by email and we'll see if we can accommodate you. 

We get many orders for the same blends and so we do not post every single one of them. We make blends to a specific ratio and can confirm that they will look very similar to the original. 
It should be noted though, that we cannot make our orders 100% identical to previous wigs due to their handmade nature, and because we do blend by hand it is impossible to make them identical. 

To avoid issues with emails, we'll post images of finished wigs to the Worktable, Instagram and Instagram Stories. 
We used to operate by email and there were so many that never got replies or never were received. 
If you see your wig posted and want to discuss it further, please do email us. 

The more information you give us, the closer we can make to your vision.

Soy is a wonderful, hypoallergenic plant material. It is silky, smooth and (surprisingly) made from the leftovers of the Tofu making process! Therefore it is also vegan and animal friendly. 
 
Soy takes colour beautifully and is perfect for styling shorter hair styles as it holds its shape fantastically. Currently, 95% of our wigs are made with Soy fibre, and while we would like to introduce more fibres to you all, Soy remains our most popular fibre by far. 

You do have to care for soy differently than other wig types. It is heat resistant but it is not water resistant and no styling products; gels, sprays should be used!
Soy reacts wonderfully to brushing. If your wig is looking a little sad, just give it a thorough brush with a fine tooth metal comb or pet slicker brush and the shine will come back almost immediately!

Because of its memory foam like styling qualities, you must expect to brush your wig upon arrival to remove any dents caused by the shipping process. A little heat may be needed to smooth out any wrinkles. If it is very close to the root, try heating up a metal comb and combing through. Sometimes it can take a couple of days for the soy to bounce back to normal after transit.

Our shipping schedule is a little hectic at times and the reason we ask you to allow up to 8 weeks is because we must ship in batches. Even if your wig is made during week one, we may not be able to post it out until week 4. We do not live close to a post office and we do not have a means of transport, so we must take them all there on foot. Since we are not nearby, we cannot take too much time out of our making schedule to ship immediately or we won't get anything made! Please bear this in mind when you order. 

If you are not patient, our service is probably not for you.

All orders are shipped without tracking as standard. 
You can upgrade to a tracked service. At checkout you'll be able to see your options.

It can take anywhere from 3 days to 3-4 weeks during busy times for parcels to arrive. On average it is within 2 weeks to most destinations. The time depends on your country, the time of year, the delay at customs and the postal department. 
Please be aware that once a parcel leaves our hands we are no longer responsible for it. We can only apply for a claim if you pick a tracked service and 10 weeks must pass before we can apply. Spain has a very reliable RETURN TO SENDER system and generally most parcels that go missing, do turn up after a couple of months. 

​Please be sure to double check your postal address at checkout, as that is where we will be shipping your order and we cannot be held responsible if incorrect information was given.
